Head wind Tail wind

The weather was terrible yesterday so we wanted to get out today and the weather was a little better so after lunch we left Blakeview. We headed down Main North Road into a strong head wind and went up the Grove Way into Golden Grove it was a good steady climb up the hill I can feel my legs are getting stronger because I am finding hills easier now. At the top of the hill we turned left towards Greenwith and continued down the hill in a big circuit. Pop didn’t let me go down too fast so it was brakes all the way. Before we do our big ride we have to do that circuit 4 times in the one ride Pop said to make sure we can tackle the hills out of Melbourne. We continued down Main North Road (still into the wind) and onto the linear Park along the Torrens River at Klemzig for a bit then turned for home. We stopped at an OTR for a hot chocolate and an apple in Enfield. After heading off, About 100 mts down the road, I got a puncture. A quick fix and keen to get our average time up we took of with a tail wind pushing us home to Virginia. We just made it before dark.

It’s a big week at our place today is my Dads birthday he is now the same age as Mum, tomorrow is my sisters birthday she will be 4 and on Tuesday I will have my birthday and be 8.

Today’s stats 85.4 kms 4 hours 15 minutes elevation 505 meters
