Adelaide Plains

This morning footy was in Hamley Bridge and we were hoping to ride home from there but the road didn’t have a good shoulder so Nan dropped Pop & I off in Balaklava. We had lunch from the bakery and we were ready to head off. It was a nice cool day, dry and no wind. It’s a very straight road into Mallala and then into Two Wells and not much traffic, the road is nice and has a great shoulder to ride in. Then we just made our way home to Virginia via Germantown Road, We saw plenty of road kill and heaps of sheep in the paddocks. Pop also told me the crops were looking good and showed me the difference between wheat and canola. We were trying to get our average speed up a bit today because it is usually around 20 kmph and when we got home it was great to see today we got 22.2 kmph.

Today’s stats 71 kms 3 hours 11 minutes
