It was a beautiful day today so after lunch Pop & I left Blakeview pleased to see no rain, nice dry roads and even a little bit of sun shine. We headed down Main North Road to McIntyre Road, Pop was keen to ride uphill today. I was surprised at how well I made it to the top, Pop guided me through my gears and I enjoyed the challenge. We then went down North East Road to Hampstead Gardens and then headed towards home. Pop gave me 2 choices either continue home our usual way or go back to the hill, I didn’t choose the hill. We were riding through Parafield Gardens and decided to call in and visit the Shepherds. After a chat and refilling our water bottles we headed home to Virginia. I really enjoyed today’s ride, my bike was feeling good with new tyres, new pedals and new handle bar tape (after my little accident the other day).
